What Is Domain ID Protection? In Feburary 2016 21,

In Feburary 2016 21,
The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is a private non-profit organization formed in 1998 to coordinate domain and Internet protocol address naming. ICANN requires all domain registrants to provide WHOIS information, which includes the name, address, telephone number and email address of the domain name registrant.
Benefits
Spammers and marketers can easily access the personal information of the individual who registered a domain by performing a lookup in the WHOIS system. Providing personal information online presents a privacy risk to individuals and corporations. Marketers may use the telephone number provided by registrants in order to make sales calls. Domain registration companies may use an individual's address to try to sell domain services. By using a domain protection service, this information is concealed so that registrants do not have to worry about their personal information being leaked over the Internet.
Process
Domain ID protection is provided by domain registrars. ICANN requires the owner or manager of a domain name to provide his personal contact information. With domain privacy protection, a third party becomes the legal owner of the domain, although the domain protection service is simply acting as the landlord of the Internet property. Since the domain protection service is the legal owner of the domain, this company can put its company's own information in as a forwarding service, as opposed to that of the registrant. All emails and contacts will be made to the domain protection service.
Fees
Since the third party must manage the protected domain names, a fee is charged for domain ID protection. Domains by Proxy, a company affiliated with the popular registrar Godaddy, charges $8.99 per domain name per year as of July 2010. Enom, owned by Demand Media, offers domain ID protection for $6. per domain per year. Other companies offer variable domain privacy fees ranging from roughly $5 to $15 a year.
Warning
Carefully consider whether domain ID protection is right for you. Domain ID protection can present legal problems, because the private registration company is the legal owner of the domain. When the domain registrar RegisterFly went bankrupt, many domain holders were left in legal limbo. Customers had difficulty regaining control of their domain names from the bankrupt company. To cancel private domain registration, users usually need to visit a third party website, even if they registered for domain ID protection with their hosting company.

How to Set Up a Wireless Router on a MacIn Feburary 2016 19,

In Feburary 2016 19,
Make sure that the Mac is not currently connected to the internet via the ethernet line. Unplug the cable modem from the wall to start off with. Then, connect the wireless router to the cable modem. To do so, take the network cable that leads from the cable modem into the back of the Mac computer and plug it into the router port that is labeled either Internet, WAN, or WLAN (these listings may vary by individual router, but generally this rule should apply to the router you have in hand).
Plug the cable modem back into the power socket and allow it to initialize. This will take a few seconds. Make sure the computer is turned on as well, so as to allow complete initialization. Create a temporary internet connection by running the wireless router network cable straight into one of the still available ports on the router. Make sure that this port is not the WLAN, WAN or Internet port mentioned above.
Open your browser. Locate the address bar and then type in and enter the special address that was provided by your router manufacturer though that device's documentation. Also enter a password if required (check your documentation).
Input the wireless network name, or SSID. This will be entered into the configuration page that pops up following your input of the password in the step above. The SSID is a name of your choosing. Also, consider password encrypting the network with a password of your choice. Then, 'Apply' your settings.
Disconnect the network cable from your Mac so as to sever the temporary internet connection you established. This wired connection will no longer be necessary seeing as the wireless router is now configured. The wireless card contained within your Mac will do the work from now on.
Right click on the network icon, which is the set of waves in the upper right hand side of the Mac OSX. This will allow your Mac to connect to your new wireless router and the network you set up. After clicking on this wireless icon, select the SSID name of your network from the drop down list, wait a moment, and then enjoy browsing the internet free of wires.

How to Draft an Invitation Letter for a Promotion PartyIn Feburary 2016 17,

In Feburary 2016 17,
Open with a salutation that greets the recipient in the same way you would address him in person, such as 'Dear Mr. Jones' or 'Dear Bill.'
Explain that you would like to invite the recipient to attend a party you are hosting in celebration of a promotion. If you are throwing the party on behalf of the individual who received the promotion, mention his or her name here so the recipient understands who the guest of honor is.
Write the date and time of the promotion party, and explain whether it will be formal or informal. Include any special instructions, such as whether black tie is optional or if the guests may bring anything, such as drinks or desserts.
Thank the recipient for her time and indicate if there is an RSVP card enclosed, or how she may reach you to let you know whether she will be attending. End with a closing, such as 'Best wishes,' then sign your name.
