Signing up for Google Apps is simple. Go to http://www.google.com/apps/intl/en/group/index.html. From there, follow through the four steps. Be sure you own your domain already and have the ability to prove you own the domain through the steps; otherwise, it can become a hassle to get the mail system going for it. If you don’t own the domain already, purchase the domain through the option on the right.Each step is self explanatory, walking you through setting up the first email address, which also serves as the main log-in for the Google Apps account.Before using Google Apps, verify your domain through its domain verification process. Have time set aside to either upload the HTML file it requests for you to create and upload or change the CNAME address.In addition, if you are hosting through a different service, be prepared to change the mail settings on your web server to allow Google to be your email server. If you are just registered through a domain registrar, you may need to change certain settings there as well. Google has good documentation for web servers as well as domain registrars and adjusting their settings to use Google for email.You can set up additional email accounts, up to 50, by adding users to the domain and granting them email access.

You can upgrade for a minimal cost to Premium Google Apps, which will allow for more storage space and more email addresses. You can do this at anytime through your Dashboard within Google Apps.Google Apps is one of the easiest and most used methods to obtain free email services for your domain. Other options are available, especially if you have hosting through a web server, but even then, Google Mail can be more efficient at handling mail and spam than most web servers are.

How to Create Your Own Start or Browser Home PageIn Feburary 2016 18,

Start.io is free and simple: two unbeatable characteristics. Create an account and you're ready to create your personal start page.
Set up a basic set of links in categories of your own choosing. See the image in the introduction for an example of the no-nonsense look of a start page you can create.
While you are setting up your page you can sort links or groups by clicking and dragging the sort button on the right side. Clicking on any link will reveal its settings in which you can edit or delete the link. To add a group, click Add a New Group on the top of the manager. To add a link, click Add a New Link at the bottom of each group.
Select the layout you like.
When you finish creating the page, go to the browser's Preferences or Options setting and set your new start page to be the homepage in the browser. In Firefox, go to the Tools menu and click Options. In Safari, go to the Safari menu and click Preferences. In Opera, go to the Tools menu and click Preferences. In Internet Explorer, open your start.io startpage, then click Tools and then Internet Options.
There is a Save to Start.io bookmarklet which you can drag to your browser's bookmark bar. When you find a new page you want to add to your start page, simply click the bookmarklet.

Open Kompozer. A new, blank page should appear once you open the program.
Click on 'Format' on the top task bar. Scroll down and select 'Page Titles and Properties.'
Enter the name of your web page in the 'Title' field. This text is what will be displayed at the top of a visitor's browser. It could be 'Welcome' or 'My Homepage.' Click 'Okay' to save these changes.
Type text into the main body of your page. It could just be dummy text, since you are merely setting up your first web page. If you want to adjust the font size, color or background color, use the buttons located in the third bar from the top.
Click on 'Edit' in the main toolbar and select 'Publishing Site Settings.'
Give your site a name. It doesn't have to be your URL. Enter the name in the 'Site Name' field.
Enter the HTTP address of your homepage in the next field. It should look like the following: http://www.ehow.com.
Enter your publishing server information in the next section. This will be the ftp address provided to you by your web-hosting provider. It will likely be similar to the address of your home page.
Enter the username and password provided to you by your web-hosting provider. Click 'Okay' when you're done.
Click on 'File' and 'Save.' Save this page as index.html. This will serve as your home page.
