Pick a theme. Before holding your event, choose a theme that will represent your cause. If you're raising money for an international adoption, bring in food and decor from that country. If you're trying to raise funds for a charity, come up with ideas that tie into your cause. Even the invitations or fliers should reflect the theme of your event.
Create a budget. Remember that you're trying to raise money, so you are going to have to work within a pretty tight budget. Ask vendors in your area if they would be willing to donate food, raffle prizes or other items for your fundraiser. Some may not have anything to donate but will give you money towards your cause.
Prepare a menu. Depending on your cause, you need to choose between a casual menu or a formal dinner. Some great fundraisers have featured a barbecue, while other successful events have included a 5-course meal. Since you are working within a limited budget, your menu will depend largely on what you can afford to spend. You can have an elegant meal on a small budget just by shopping around at warehouse grocery stores.
Plan the entertainment. You should have something planned besides just a dinner. One great way to raise even more money for your cause is to have a silent auction or even a public auction. You can ask local vendors to donate items to auction. You can also invite a band to play or have a talent show. Try to do something that ties into the evening's theme.
Present your cause. With all of your planning for the fundraiser, it's easy to forget why you are inviting these people here in the first place! Prepare a short presentation about your cause, showing everyone why you are desperate to raise funds and how they can help.

How to Invite Friends to a Jewelry PartyIn Feburary 2016 12,
In Feburary 2016 12,
Think of your close friends. Those that you interact with frequently are a must for your invite list. The girls that you gab with on the phone and get together with during the day and evening hours should be the first friends you invite.
Invite your friends and acquaintances from your place of worship. Jewelry parties are a great way to interact with these ladies in a fun and relaxing environment.
Remember to invite your co-workers. Everyone needs a fun chance to socialize outside of the work place.
Send and invitation to your friends. A paper, snail-mail invitation is best. E-invites work well for the computer savvy, but make sure that your girlfriends are good about checking their email if this is your choice.
Give your friends a courtesy phone call a few days before the party. This will be a quick way to give them a reminder just in case the invitation was misplaced.
Let your friends know that this will be a low key evening for socializing and fun. Of course it is fun to earn free and discounted jewelry, but your focus should be on the friendships and fun. Any jewelry purchases should be an added bonus to your evening.
Invite your friends to bring guests with them. The more, the merrier, and this will increase your total party sales. Many party hostesses offer free gifts to those who bring an uninvited guest to the party.

How to Make a Custom BlogIn Feburary 2016 09,
In Feburary 2016 09,
Choose a blog host (see Resources). Following the instructions from your blog host, choose a custom name for your blog. Use something original. For example, if your blog is about dogs, choose a name like The Pup Spot or The Dog Blog, instead of A Blog About Dogs.
Pick a custom domain name (ex. www.yourblog.com) for your blog. If you do not choose a domain, you will be given a sub-domain (ex. www.bloghost.com/yourblog). A domain name usually draws in more traffic than a sub-domain.
Register your domain name through one of many registrars (see Resources). Remember that you do not need hosting. All you need is the domain name. Follow the instructions from your blog host to attach the domain name to your blog. Check the FAQs on your blog host for more information, or contact your blog host provider with questions.
Design a custom blog header for your blog using an image-editing program. The header should reflect what your blog is about and include the title of your blog. Place an image in your blog using code or a WYSIWYG editor (if your blog host provides this option).
Customize your blog to your liking using CSS and HTML or by using a WYSIWYG editor (if your blog host offers this service).
Launch your blog and give the link to friends and family members. Use social networking sites to advertise your blog.
