How to Create a Secure WebsiteIn Feburary 2016 11,

In Feburary 2016 11,
Create your website as you would do normally. Any standard web programming code will be fine, including HTML, PHP and ASP.
Go to a website that offers what are called Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificates. As the title implies, SSL is a protocol that provides a layer of protection over your site by scrambling data. Popular services that you may want to consider include Godaddy SSL, VeriSign.com, Thawte.com or Comodo (see 'Resources'). Your web host may also offer discounts on SSL certificates.
Choose the length of time you would like to keep the SSL certificate active, since most require annual renewal unless you pay for a longer term. Some services will allow you to pay for your certificate five years in advance.
Pay for your SSL service and then install the technology on the information-gathering pages of your website. The provider will send you a bundle of files including your unique certificate via email along with specific instructions depending on your operating system and the file upload service that you use for your website.
Test your information-gathering pages by typing in the site address with 'https://' instead of the standard 'http://' protocol and assure that all links to that page on your site use the new 'https://' URL. Whenever your customers visit those pages, the information will become encrypted.
Use a trusted and secure website payment processing system, such as the free one offered by Paypal, to take online customer orders as an added layer of assurance for your customers. Paypal has its own layer of protection built in, so customer information is never transmitted, stored or made vulnerable to theft on your website.

How to Host a Ladies' Luncheon at ChurchIn Feburary 2016 10,

In Feburary 2016 10,
Form a committee of helpers who will assist you.
Decide whom you will invite to the luncheon beyond your group of church women, such as friends and family.
Plan the logistics. Pick a date and time for the luncheon. Most afternoon meals start between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Select a room or outdoor area on church property that will accommodate your group, and ask permission to use the location.
Identify the purpose of the luncheon, whether it's a fundraiser, a devotional, a social or something else. Pick a theme for the luncheon that's connected to the purpose. If the lunch is a social event, the theme could be 'Friendships in Bloom,' with décor and food centering on springtime and flowers.
Select light food items for your menu. Popular choices include finger sandwiches or cold cuts, soups, salads and fruit. If possible, connect your menu with the theme. For example, if you're hosting a 'Warming Hearts and Hands' luncheon to raise money to clothe the homeless, serve an array of hot soups. Don't forget about beverages and dessert.
Decide who will prepare the food. If it is a potluck, post the menu in a public place so women can sign up to bring specific dishes. Instead, you may want to assign the food preparation to few volunteer cooks. If you don't want to cook at all, buy the food or use a restaurant to cater the event.
Invite women to the luncheon by sending formal invitations to people's homes or handing them out at church. If it's more informal, ask the pastor to make an announcement at service or post the event in the church bulletin. Instruct ladies to R.S.V.P. so you can get an accurate head count.
Plan activities for the luncheon. A short devotional, games or songs are all appropriate for an informal social event. Arrange for a qualified keynote speaker if your goal is to inform or educate women. If it's a fundraiser, share information about who is benefiting from the money.
Decorate the tables and rooms where the luncheon will be held either the night before or that morning. Designate special tables for food, beverages and dessert. Make sure there are enough tables and chairs for every woman. Cover the tables and include a centerpiece. Decorate the room according to the theme.
Stand by the door and greet each woman as she arrives. After everyone has gathered, thank the ladies for coming and then give thanks to the Lord for the food.
Start the activities as soon as most people have eaten. If your room is large, use a microphone so everyone can hear you.
Close in prayer at the end of the luncheon. Stand by the door as women leave and thank them for coming.

How to Plan a Party for 200 PeopleIn Feburary 2016 06,

In Feburary 2016 06,
Come up with a budget. A party for 200 people, catered or not, is going to cost a lot of money. Decide how much you have to spend, then designate the amounts accordingly.
Find a location. Unless you live in a mansion, you probably don't have room for 200 people at your home. Find a conveniently located venue that is within your budget and can hold a large number of people.
Decide on a theme, if desired. Some popular themes include tiki, Hawaiian, pirates, black tie, disco or '80s. Use this theme to organize the decorations, invitations and food choices.
Organize your food and drink options. This may be one of the difficult parts of planning a party for large groups. Catering might be the easiest way to do this, as you can simply tell the catering company how many guests you have, and they will provide the food and drink accordingly. If you want to save a little money, you can provide the food and drinks yourself. A general rule of thumb is to have 1 lb. of food per person, plus dessert and beverages.
Send out the invitations. There are a variety of ways to do this, including traditional paper invitations, personal e-mails or an online invitation service. Sent the invitations out about 4 weeks before the party to give your guests ample time to RSVP.
Choose your entertainment. Hire a live band or DJ, or set up a CD player with a variety of music. Also consider using a karaoke machine.
Set up early. Give yourself at least three hours. Get to the venue early, check in with the caterers and entertainment to be sure everything is on time and ask for help from friends and family to set up.
